Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:11 -13
It was he (Jesus) who gave some to be apostles, some
to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some
to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people
for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be
built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature,
attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
As the Pastor at Tower Heights it is my desire and passion to equip, enable, and empower believers to use their God given gifts and talents in ministry.
Romans 12:4 - 8
Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his£ faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
We as a church are working to move beyond what has always been done to new methods and approaches to ministry that may allow us to be more effective as we seek to minister as Christ has called us to reach our world for Him.
If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and are striving to serve His church, I am available to you as a resource. If you have a new ministry idea, lets pray about it together and see what doors God may open. If you would like to help with an established ministry, once again I will put you in contact with those who are serving as leaders within that ministry and allow them to know your interest in serving.
